She brought an intensity to the mat that gave her an advantage that was fun to watch. Her improvement and toughness throughout the year was incredible.​

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
I nominate Jordan Woolery for the athlete of the month.  She is an excellent student and a great leader as co-captain for our JV girls basketball team.  During our league season, she has the most rebounds and is our second leading scorer.  She has been a key contributor to our current record of 20 wins, 3 losses.​

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
Kat is a senior captain, and 4 year starter on varsity.
She’s been all-league two years in a row (and probably a third this year).
She is a tremendous leader with a great attitude; never has a bad word to say about anybody.
This past semester she had a 3.4 gpa.​

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
She leads the varsity in blocks; second in rebounding; and third in scoring.
Plus she had a 4.33 gpa first semester.
