Armando is a fearless swimmer who takes on the biggest challenges in swimming. He hard work was rewarded with best times in the DAL Championships.

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
Niklas lead the Men's swim team at DAL Championships by doing something very rare. He swam events that were not his best strokes, but directly competed with Northgate's strength. He also won both of those events. His versatility and strength are why he is among the top 50 high school swimmers in the United States.​
