Hayden had a podium finish (3rd place) in our 2nd practice race of the month, . He has been working hard & his league results show as well.​

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
Brandon is a 1st year rider that has been working very hard. His bike handling skills are very strong. Brandon was rewarded in our 2nd league race. The course was fast, punchy technical course & Brandon was the high point recipient for the team in the freshman category.​

Reason why the coach chose this athlete:
Jack has been foundational to the development and success of our team. His hard work and dedication paid off recently in CVCHS 1st place podium finish in a preseason race sponsord by Total Body Fitness in Folsom, CA.

To provide some perspective, the field (HS Novice) had 52 male riders competing. Jack placed 1st overall crossing the finish line 1:30 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor.

At practice, Jack works hard and pushes his team mates to be the best that they can be. His positive can-do attitude helps his peers push to try harder & motivates each rider to get better.​

Reason why the coach whose this athlete:
Atlas is a new rider to CVCHS MTB entering 2019. He has a great attitude and great attendance and he’s constantly improving.
