Max leads the Men's JV Lacrosse team in points over our first 5 games with 9, having scored 8 goals and 1 assist. Max is also near .500 as a Face-Off Middie, with a record of 21 and 24. As a Captain, Max is also a team leader by example and gives his all in practice and every game. Max is also a member of both the Man-Up Team, and the Man-Down team. Connor has been an absolute warrior for us this season, he is number one face off guy, plays offense, is on special teams and also plays Long Stick Midfield when needed. Anything I ask him to do, he does with 100% of his ability and never questions. Our team's success this year would not be possible without him. Torin is breaking school records left and right this year. He has already scored 58 goals in our first 12 games, the fastest to reach that number and even had a game where he scored 9 goals a school record; March 5 versus Tamalpias HS. He is also on pace to be the first player in Clayton Valley Lacrosse history to score 200 career goals. Although this is Andrew's 3rd year playing lacrosse, this is his first season playing as a Goalie. Andrew volunteered to take on the very difficult position when the team developed problems at the position early in the season. Andrew has been a very big part of the JV Men's Lacrosse teams recent 4 game win streak which has brought the team to 5-5 at this point in the season. This includes having 13 saves in CVCHS' first ever win against the Acalanes JV Lacrosse team, for a .722 Save Percentage! In our 8-4 over the Livermore JV team, Andrew intercepted a pass across the goal crease and then went coast to coast with the ball to score the final goal of the game, the first goalie ever at CVCHS to do so. Andrew is a member of the Man-Down Team, is a Team Captain and leads by example. He continues to get better in the goalie position every time he plays. |
